How would OOC work for claims that aren't live action?

Hmm,maybe have them in an outfit they wouldn't normally wear?Or a quote or text that's not like them. :)

Another option I can think of is if you use a different version of your chosen character (for example DC comics and the different Earths - on our here, Clark Kent is a good guy and Lex Luthor the bad guy; on another Earth, the tables are turned). Don't know if anything remotely similar exists in Anime/Manga comics.
