Type of voting

Hey everyone! Just wanted to know a few things.
What sort of voting do you prefer?

a) Choosing the best icon from everyone's theme icons (such as best eye or smile icon)
b) Choosing 3 best icons from each set

I prefer to vote in sets, as I like to compete against myself. But I'm happy either way!

Might be alone with this opinion, but I prefer a voting by theme. As with whole sets, I usually get a bit tangled up, and I also usually struggle to narrow it down to only 3.

But in the end, whatever works better for you!

I like both! I like b) because that way everyone gets a win and because it's always nice to be sure of feedback, but I also like a) and the idea of comparing all negative space icons to each other and so on.

So my impulse is that I want both! But I know that'd be extra hassle for you. So I'm not really sure how to vote.

Haha!!I can see the advantages in both of them,lol! Maybe I'll go with a) when there are themes but b) when it's an inspirational challenge?Like make 10 icons of one theme so then best icons from each set makes sense.

I like the idea of voting by themes I think it keeps things simpler, but really it's all good.

Thanks a lot for letting me know. I'm thinking maybe depending on the type of challenge having both would be good. Themes voting when 10 themes are given and set voting when a single theme is there.

Ah, I didn't know you were planning on other challenges than "10 themes". Just wanted to say that I love that kind of challenge, and I wouldn't mind having it every single time.

We have fandom10in30 for other themed challenges. Not that that means you can't do it, too :), just that there is no other "10 themes" challenge around at all, and it was something I'd been missing before you made one.

As for the voting: I like both kinds. The best for each theme is fun, and the 3 best icons for everyone is great, too. I know the first one is pretty competitive and some people don't like that, so I guess if someone is against that, you should listen to them first. I don't mind either way. I'm mostly in it for the fun of making the icons, not for the voting.

:D!Heeyyy!!Thanks a lot for letting me know.I was thinking the same that since fandom10in30 already does inspiration challenges, maybe this community should have the 10 themes since I don't see much of it,especially on DW. And whatever voting I settle on, I'll try to keep a little bit of both styles so everyone's happy! LOL!
